Copacking is a 💩 diaper
an industry in dire need of change
Hey Founders & Friends! 👋
I’m tired. I couldn’t sleep last night. My mind kept racing with so many thoughts. It’s a good thing, I’m sure y’all can relate!

I’ve been connecting with a lot of you one on one and can’t thank you enough! Both brands and copackers!
We all know this to be true:
The world of copacking is a 💩 diaper that’s in dire need of changing. What happens when that 💩 diaper isn’t changed in time? Yep, complete and utter mess… I’ve been there.
But as a father of 4, I’m an expert at changing 💩 diapers. I’ve changed them while the baby is standing, sleeping, at the doctor, in the car, on the beach, and in the public restroom. So what’s another one?
This one though, I can’t do alone.
I’ve been super stubborn in not wanting to ask y’all for help. But I’ve also been taking weekly therapy sessions via BetterHelp for the past month and am getting more comfortable communicating my needs!
There’s one thing I need from you to help us change this silly, silly world of copacking:
Follow or connect with me on LinkedIn and hit that bell icon to stay up to date on my posts and drop a like or comment. If we are already connected, please hit that bell and refer me to someone in your network that’s had copacking troubles.
Why I Need Your Help?
This newsletter has opened my eyes. Curating a ton of public information about all types of CPG suppliers is great. But there needs to be a better platform for housing this curated information. Something more user-friendly.
So, I’m building an online directory that will eventually offer match-making services. Sure there are tons of directories out there, but none share the good & bad info on copackers.
Finding a solid copacker takes a lot of time. Time you don’t have. Brands often settle for a copacker, and it shouldn’t be that way.
This will take me a minute as I figure all of this out. But the directory will store that juicy information I find on CPG suppliers minus my commentary.
This newsletter will use that curated info and add my silly commentary.
Lastly, if you or anyone you know has juicy stories about a bad copacking experience, I’d love to know. Fill out this google form or email me. These stories also need to be curated and not just left at convos over cocktails!
As always, I appreciate you and your support. If there’s anything I can do to help you, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Thanks,
Josh - Your CPG Supplier Insider
